Isabel met her boyfriend, Peter, during their last year of dental school. Both of them agreed to live together after graduation. However, Isabel knew very well that every female member of her family who got married in their first round would end up getting divorced or not having a happy ending. This made her extremely wary of marrying Peter, but Peter did not believe in such superstitions.
Isabel had to deceive Peter to help her family traditions by flying to Denmark with her sister to find a fake groom. They wanted to get married in Denmark and only in the span of ten minutes, but before flying back to Paris to marry Peter. However, due to circumstances, Isabel had to look for a fake groom to marry before her wedding to Peter.
Isabel then met George Iverson, a man hated for his lies and deceitfulness. They fell in love, and the story of love deception and comedic misadventure began.
