“Rampage” is an action-packed adventure movie that follows the story of Davis Okoye (played by Dwayne Johnson), a primatologist who stays away from human contact. He has a close relationship with George, a silverback gorilla that he has cared for since birth. However, genetic editing turns George, along with several other animals, into violent beasts with increased aggression and size.
As these creatures begin to make their way towards North America and wreak havoc on everything in their path, Davis joins forces with a discredited genetic engineer to find a cure for the mutation, all while battling multiple obstacles along the way.
The group must race against time to stop the destruction, but they soon discover that the mutated animals are not the only threat. Other sinister individuals seek to exploit the situation for their own personal gain, making the mission even more dangerous and complex.
Throughout the film, Davis must confront his past and make difficult decisions in order to protect the ones he cares about, including his friend George. With stunning special effects and heart-pumping action sequences, “Rampage” is a thrilling ride filled with suspense, drama and heart.
