เรื่องย่อหนัง:

Tian-Kuo (played by Eddie Peng) is a good-hearted young man in his early twenties who lives with his parents. He works as a delivery boy for a small restaurant run by a family. He cycles around the city with his lunch box, delivering food to customers. During his mid-day break, he likes to take a dip in the nearby swimming pool. He loves to drop by and watch a group of deaf athletes training there. One day, he sees Yang Yang (Ivy Chen), a hearing-impaired girl who follows the group to support her older sister, Xiao Peng (Michelle Chen), who is preparing for the upcoming Deaflympics.

Tian-Kuo is immediately drawn to Yang Yang, and he decides to strike a conversation with her using sign language. Hoping to impress her, he starts practicing the signs he learned and even buys a book on sign language. Although Yang Yang is initially hesitant to open up to him, she eventually warms up to him.

As they spend more time together, they discover they have so much in common, despite their different backgrounds. Tian-Kuo shares his dream of becoming an artist and shows Yang Yang his sketches. She, on the other hand, talks about her passion for dancing and how she always dreamed of performing in front of a large audience.

However, their newfound friendship is tested when Tian-Kuo’s parents learn of their relationship. They disapprove of it, thinking that Yang Yang’s deafness would be a hindrance to their son’s prosperous future. This eventually leads to a misunderstanding between Tian-Kuo and Yang Yang, and they part ways.

Determined to win her back, Tian kuo decides to learn more sign language and enroll in a sign language class. He also joins the group of athletes and competes in the Deaflympics alongside Xiao Peng, who finally achieves her long-awaited dream. In the end, Tian-Kuo and Yang Yang reconcile, and they realize that their love for each other transcends any barrier.

The movie, inspired by a true story, is a heartwarming and inspiring tale of a young man who learns to overcome his prejudices and open up his heart to new possibilities. It is a beautiful reminder that love knows no boundaries and the importance of embracing diversity and differences.
