In the city of brotherly love, Philadelphia, four completely different high school students found themselves brought together by one common thread: their dire circumstances. Despite their contrasting personalities of the cunning hacker, lazy slacker, athletic jock, and over-achieving student, they all shared one thing—financial struggles.
Growing with the never-ending burdens of poverty, they have been forced to adapt to their challenging world. But one day, they stumbled upon a crazy idea to steal from the United States Mint, located just a few miles away.
Their plan seemed preposterous at first, but they immediately found camaraderie in each other and knew they could pull it off. With the slacker’s street-smart tactics and the athlete’s physical strength, they knew they could make progress. Meanwhile, the computer genius of the group was already working hard to hack into the Mint’s complex security systems. And last but not least, the perfect student planned on using her charisma and intelligence to distract the authorities.
The preparation and execution of this break-in would take more than they’ve ever done. This team of four from different cliques came to form an unlikely alliance, utilizing all their unique talents to make the heist a success. Together, they worked to overcome countless obstacles, from bypassing the alarms to dodging patrolling guards, all the while taking the risk of getting caught.
As they got closer to the prize, their bond and loyalty to each other would be tested. They were stealing from the Government, after all. The heist was no longer just for their financial gain, but also for a sense of justice, for themselves and their loved ones.
With twists and turns through the action-packed story and even characters from their past coming back to haunt them, this united group of friends set out to accomplish the impossible, and nothing will stand in their way.
In the end, whether they made it out clean, caught, or otherwise, one thing was for sure— they had each other’s backs no matter what, as united by their dire circumstances, they forever will be.
